In these Terms and Conditions, these are some of the terms we will use:
“Event” means our CONEXEN events, organised by CONEXEN Ltd.
“Participant” means you, the individual attending the Event.
“Organiser” means us, CONEXEN Ltd, the team responsible for organising and managing the Event.
2.1 To join the Event, Participants need first to pre-register beforehand through our designated online registration form (Lu.ma). This enables the Organiser to keep a good balance between the different participant categories ensuring that all attendees will find the events more valuable.
2.2 The tickets will get approved once the key applicant details are verified
2.3 By registering for the Event, Participants agree to follow these Friendly Terms and Conditions.
3.1 During the registration process, we’ll ask Participants to provide some personal details, like their name, email, LinkedIn profile, job title, and company.
3.2 By registering for the Event, Participants agree that we can share their personal data with our local event organisers to make the Event even better. If Participants prefer not to share their info, they can let us know in writing.
3.3. During the registration process, the system will ask you if you would like to share some of your personal details with other attendees and sponsors of the event. We only share the details you authorise us to share.
3.3 By participating in the Event, participants acknowledge and consent that photographs and videos may be taken by our event organisers, other attendees, and media. These images and videos may be shared on social media, our website, and used for marketing purposes, including but not limited to promotional materials and sharing with Sponsors for their marketing activities. If a participant prefers not to have their images or videos shared, they may inform us in writing.

4.1 Participants, please be aware that you are attending the Event at your own risk.
4.2 We, the Organiser, won’t be held responsible for any injury, accident, loss, or damage that may happen during the Event, except in cases of serious negligence or intentional misconduct on our part.
4.3 Participants agree to have our back and protect us from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, that may arise from their attendance or participation in the Event.
5.1 We expect Participants to be kind, professional, and respectful during the Event and to follow any safety instructions provided by us or the venue.
5.2 We reserve the right to ask any Participant to leave the Event if they’re not behaving appropriately, including but not limited to disorderly conduct, harassment, or not following these Terms and Conditions or safety instructions.
6.1 If we need to cancel the Event for any reason, we’ll let Participants know and refund any registration fees paid (Lu.ma platform fees are not refundable)..
6.2 If a Participant decides to cancel their registration, they should notify us in writing. We’ll provide refunds only if the notification is received at least 7 working days ahead of the Event. Please note that Lu.ma fees are non-refundable.
Sometimes, we might need to make changes to the Event, like adjusting the schedule, speakers, or venue. We hope Participants understand and can be flexible with us!

These Terms and Conditions follow the laws of the UK. Any disagreements that come up in connection with these terms will be addressed in the courts of United Kingdom.
These Terms and Conditions make up the whole agreement between the Participant and the Organiser, taking the place of any previous agreements or understandings about the subject.
