Welcome to CONEXEN Oxford – a warm and welcoming hub for professionals in pharma, biotech, life sciences, and health tech in Oxford! Here, we invite you to join us for an informal and friendly gathering where connections are made, knowledge is shared, and friendships are formed. Come with an open heart and a willingness to “listen” rather than “sell.”

After several “more informal” gatherings around the city, we will be opening our first formal CONEXEN in Oxford on September 12th from 6 pm, and we will be at The Oxford Retreat, just a few minutes from the rail station. It’s a casual setting where we can come together, exchange greetings, engage in conversation, and simply enjoy a pleasant time.

Picture this as more than just an event—it’s a community gathering. Our focus is on providing you with an opportunity to meet fellow professionals in a relaxed and amiable environment. We’ll share conversations over delicious food and drinks, and leave with a sense of excitement and a pocketful of new contacts and ideas.

The format of the night:

18.00 – 18.30 – doors open – food and drinks, networking, and meeting great people
20.30 – end of the night – you leave with new contacts and fresh ideas

Venue: The Oxford Retreat – 1-2 Hythe Bridge St, Oxford OX1 2EW. Parking is available at the Worcester Street Car Park (post code OX1 2BQ) which is a 2 min walk to the Oxford Retreat.

This is a ticketed event (£10). Food will be provided and drinks will be available for purchase from the bar.

Please let your colleagues and industry friends know about us, we hope to build it into a great resource for the community over the coming months and years. Attendance will be taken at this event. If you sign up but don’t show up, this has a knock on effect on event arrangements. If it happens 3 times, we may need to reconsider your participation. This is simply a measure to allow appropriate respect to the organisers, speakers, sponsors, and your fellow Conexers.
